London: A Sikh lecturer at Oxford University was arrested and later on released on bail after his colleague's body was found at his house. Interestingly, the victim's family has refused to believe it's a case of murder saying the two men had been friends for 30 years.
Apparently, Devinder Sevia and his colleague Professor Rolling had gone out for a drink. When they returned, there was some sort of an argument between the two. It is not known for certain yet whether it is related to the death of the professor.
Sevia was arrested and later released on bail. However, Professor Rolling's sister has maintained that she does not believe that Sevia could have anything to do with his death.
"They were friends and Rolling would have died of natural causes," she said, adding that Sevia’s name should not be tarnished.
The post mortem has proved inconclusive. Further police investigations are continuing.
