'Paa' child actor Taruni Sachdev among Nepal crash victims

Mumbai: She began acting at the age of six and went on to co-star with Amitabh Bachchan in 'Paa' in 2009. Taruni Sachdev, who became a popular child artiste with over 50 commercials to her credit, is most remembered as the Rasna girl with Karisma Kapoor.

She also acted in a couple of Malayalam films and was reportedly the highest paid child actor down south.

14-year-old Taruni and her mother Geetha Sachdev were on their way to the Muktinath temple in Nepal, when their plane crashed on Monday.

The 14-year-old child actor is most remembered as the Rasna girl with Karisma Kapoor.

The Bachchans reacted on twitter, while Amitabh Bachchan tweeted "Just reading that Tarini Sachdev, the girl child artist in 'Paa', has perished in Nepal plane crash, please God may this not be true". Abhishek Bachchan added "SHOCKED and very saddened to hear about the Nepal plane crash. Lost 1 of my cutest co-stars. Little Taruni Sachdev from PAA. Speechless"

Many fans and well wishers also expressed their shock online under Taruni's video clips.
