Paes-Dlouhy lose in US Open men's doubles final

New York: American twins Bob and Mike Bryan won the US Open men's doubles crown for the second time when they squeezed past Indian-Czech duo Leander Paes and Lukas Dlouhy 7-6 7-6 in the final on Friday.

The 30-year-old brothers clawed back from an early break in the opening set to snatch it in a tiebreaker 7-5.

The teams also traded breaks in the second set but again headed for another tiebreak, which the Bryans clinched 12-10 when Dlouhy smacked a backhand service return wide.

The second seeds won their sixth overall men's grand slam doubles title.

They have also triumphed at Wimbledon, Roland Garros and also own a pair of Australian Open trophies.
