New Delhi: Zindaggi Rocks failed to rock, Mera Dil Leke Dekho and Bhoot Uncle scared the audiences away — the box office report thus remained dismal for most films this week.
Sushmita Sen's rock-star act in her semi autobiographical flick Zindaggi Rocks failed to rock at the marquee. Starring Shiney Ahuja, Mausami Chatterjee and Kim Sharma, the film brought in a meager 20 to 25 per cent collection in the multiplexes in most metros and a slightly better 30 to 35 per cent collection in Mumbai.

The week's other releases, Bhoot Uncle starring Jackie Shroff as the friendly ghost, and Mera Dil Leke Dekho, Shatrughan Sinha's wife Poonam Sinha's debut production, sank at the box office bringing in a poor 5 to 10 percent collection.
However last week's release Woh Lamhe, inspired by Parveen Babi's life and starring Shiney Ahuja and Kangana Ranaut is still going strong, with 45 to 50 per cent collections in Mumbai and 35 to 40 per cent in Delhi.
The Gods didn’t smile though on last week's two mythological films Jai Santoshi Maa and Krishna. They raked in a poor 8 to 12 percent collections.
