Jammu: The repeated ceasefire violations by the Pakistani Army rocked the Jammu & Kashmir Assembly on Monday as the Opposition targeted the state government over the issue.
Members of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) intervened when Chief Minister Omar Abdullah was speaking in the House on ceasefire violations.
Members of the BJP, Panthers Party and ruling National Conference members also clashed inside the Assembly. BJP and Panther Party members staged a walkout. And, Balwant Singh Malkotia of the Panthers Party, who was sloganeering inside the House, was evicted from the Assembly by marshals following the ruckus.
Pakistan violated ceasefire for the third consecutive day on Monday when it shelled 35 BSF posts along the International Border.
