New Delhi: After qualifying for next year's Hockey World Cup, the Pakistan hockey team is now hopeful the relations between India and Pakistan will improve before the mega event takes place in New Delhi next year.
The event next year will be hosted by New Delhi from February 28 to March 13.
Pakistan have secured their berth in the tournament by winning the qualification event in France.
The Pakistan hockey team arrived in Karachi to a warm welcome earlier on Tuesday after sealing their berth in the world Cup.
The Pakistan hockey Federation has also announced special cash awards for the players.
