Jammu: Phone lines to Pakistan from J & K will now start buzzing for the first time since 1990. This is because the state is partially restoring fixed phone lines to boost trade relations with Pakistan.
Trade across the line of control is now set to overcome its biggest hurdle. For the first time in 20 years the J & K government is restoring telephone lines to Pakistan. Beginning with five hotlines will be set up at crossing points in Poonch and Uri.
