New Delhi: On the second day of ongoing home secretary-level talks between India and Pakistan, an Indo-Pak joint statement has been released on Tuesday.

According to the joint statement released in New Delhi on Tuesday, the Pakistani delegation updated India on the ongoing trial and investigation and agrees in principle to allow an Indian commission to investigate 26/11 attacks in Pakistan.

India's National Investigative Agency (NIA) and Pakistan's Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) will cooperate in the 26/11 investigation, assured the Pak delegation.

India provided information to Pakistan on the Samjauta Express blast case and agreed to update them once the chargesheet is filed.

Indian and Pakistani home secretaries have also agreed to set up a hotline to facilitate real time information sharing with respect to terror threats.

The two sides have also agreed to hold home secretary-level talks bi-annually.
