New Delhi: Injured Pakistan prisoner Sanaullah Haq's condition has deteriorated further and he may have contracted jaundice, doctors at Chandigarh's PGI hospital said. Sanaullah Haq was attacked by his Indian inmate in a Jammu jail last week. He is in deep coma.
Meanwhile, his family met him at the hospital on Tuesday. Two of his family members had arrived at the Wagah border after being granted Indian visas.
The Pakistani High Commissioner, Salman Bashir, visited Sanaullah on Monday and demanded an impartial probe into the attack. Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has said that action has been taken against authorities at the Kot Balwal jail where the attack occurred.
