New Delhi: Pakistan has stonewalled India once again on the 26/11 Mumbai attack probe.
India's acting High Commissioner Manpreet Vohra was called to the Pakistan foreign ministry, where the Director General (South Asia) handed over a document "seeking further clarifications (and) evidence from the government of India," said a statement from the Foreign Office spokesman.
The clarifications and evidence are needed for "the ongoing investigations in Pakistan relating to the Mumbai terror attacks," it said.
"The information being sought from India is in the spirit of cooperation with Indian authorities and with a view to enabling the relevant authorities in Pakistan to proceed further in the matter," the statement said.
Pakistan Interior Minister Rehman Malik says Islamabad needs more information from India. He has questioned the DNA details, provided by India, of the sole captured terrorist Mohammed Ajmal Kasab.
He has asked the Indian government to provide more details of the SIM cards used by the attackers. Pakistan also wants details of the GPS systems used by them.
Rehman Malik says Pakistan's investigation into the attack is on track. But reiterated the stand that there is a local Indian hand in the attack.
India had sent a dossier in mid-March containing most of the available proof, as a reply to a Pak questionnaire.
