Karachi: About 500 Hindu families in Karachi are up in arms after the Pakistan government barred them from entering founding father Mohammad Ali Jinnah's mausoleum on August 14, Pakistan's Independence Day.

The community took to the streets in protest on Wednesday. They staged a sit-in to demand for equal rights as well.

This comes at a time when many Pakistani Hindus, who have come to India on a pilgrimage are not willing to return to Pakistan.
