Pakistan must accept India's evidence: govt

New Delhi: Indian Minister of State for External Affairs Anand Sharma has said that Pakistan is in no position to make demands of India.

He told Chief Diplomatic Correspondent Parrull that Pakistan could make a beginning by accepting the terrorists came from that country.

Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) sources also tells CNN IBN that trade sanctions could follow.

Parrull: Within 24 hours, Pak rejected the dossier India gave them. Your response.

Anand Sharma: Pakistan is further inviting international ridicule with this irresponsible statement. The international community, those who have seen the evidence know where the terrorists are from and which state is mandated by international law, to act.

Parrull:: There is also talk of war, for instance when the Prime Minister spoke, it was seen as escalating tensions?

Anand Sharma: I do not know form where Pakistan gets this talk of war. We have never used that word. They are hiding behind this war rhetoric and not acting against terror.

Parrull: Pakistan is now preparing a dossier of its own, claiming Indian involvement in the terror attack. Your response.

Anand Sharma: India is a democracy, and a victim of terror. Pakistan is the epicentre of terror, the entire international community knows it.

Parrull:One final question, now that Pakistan has ruled out any mutual cooperation, they have also made demands. Will those demands be met?

Anand Sharma: Pakistan must first accept the evidence that India has given them and admit that all ten perpetrators are Pakistani. Only then can they make any demands.
