New Delhi: Hours before Pakistan Interior Minister Rehman Malik arrives in India, Union Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde has said that Pakistan's action against Hafiz Saeed and other 26/11 accused and voice samples in the case will be discussed. Speaking to CNN-IBN, Shinde said Pakistan should hand over the conspirators to India.
Following is an excerpt from the interview:
Arunima: What will be the take away from this dialogue between you and your counterpart?
Sushil Kumar Shinde: The conspirators who are hiding in Pakistan, that they should immediately consider to hand them over to India. Also, there are lot of infiltrations at the border, on that count I specifically spoke, but this time, we'll issue a Visa decision.
Arunima: Are you now hopeful that Pakistan is serious about giving India the voice samples or handing over Hafiz Saeed? Is that why you agreed to meet Rehman?
Sushil Kumar Shinde: I think he has the desire to go forward and in this meeting also I will take up the voice samples. But one thing I must tell you on the judicial commission, after examination, now both the countries are ready for the examination and cross-examination and I think papers are moving to both the countries' legal experts.
