Poonch: In the wake of the strong reactions of India to the killing of two Indian soldiers by the Pakistan army, the neighbouring country on Thursday did not open gates for trucks to cross the Line of Control (LoC).

The doors at the Chakan-Da-Bagh crossing point in Poonch were shut by the Pakistani side, affecting the cross-LoC trade. Several trucks are all lined up fully loaded following the development.

However, the trade between the two countries at Attari in Punjab is continuing as usual. According to trader association, the loss estimate because of the move of Pakistan is at Rs 2.25 crore.
