Mumbai: A young, missing child is the possibly the worst agony for any parent. One such couple in Mumbai, whose son went missing more than a month ago, have refused to give in and search the city's streets in the dead of the night for their missing 10-year-old child.
Geeta Siddhu, the mother, can hardly keep her tears under control but she steadies herself and moves on with her husband.
She shows the picture of her 10-year-old son Yaman, who went missing on February 2, 2008, to everyone she meets and asks if anyone has seem him.
She and her husband Ajay have been going to different spots in Mumbai every night in the hope that they will find their missing son.
"We go to different stations, temples. We have covered all of Mumbai looking from him," Ajay says.
After failing to get any help from the authorities, the Siddhus are hoping for some divine help.
They began their search on Tuesday night after offering prayers at the Siddhivinayak Temple.
But with no news of Yaman each passing day, their despair is growing
"Where has my son gone? Even my daughter doesn't go to school because of this," Geeta cries out.
The Siddhus have not had any success till now, but they will continue their vigil hoping to find their only son, in the sea of humanity in a city that never sleeps.
