The All Kerala Anti-Corruption and Human Rights Protection Council has filed a petition in the Kerala High Court seeking a direction for forest officials to seize elephant tusks in the custody of top actor Mohanlal.
Already there was a case against Mohanlal and two others: PN Krishnakumar and N Krishnakumar in connection with seizure of ivory. The top Mollywood actor, who is popular in Kollywood as well, is the first accused in the case.
Now, the petitioner has contended that Mohanlal had no valid license and hence had no authority to keep the tusks.
