New Delhi: Indian Oil Corporation on Thursday slashed petrol price by Rs 2.46, to be effective from midnight.
State-owned oil firms, which had last month hiked petrol price by a massive Rs 7.54 a litre, had on June 3 cut rates by Rs 2.02 per litre.
Petrol in Delhi will cost Rs 67.78 a litre with effect from midnight as against Rs 70.24 a litre, three oil marketing companies announced on Thursday.

Delhi: Rs 67.78 (from Rs 70.24)
Mumbai: Rs 73.99 (from Rs 76.45)
Kolkata: Rs 73.35 (from Rs 75.81)
Lucknow: Rs 73.22 (from Rs 75.68)
Patna: Rs 71.36 (from Rs 73.82)
Bhopal: Rs 73.50 (from Rs 75.96)
