New Delhi: As the competition hots up at the 60th Cannes Film Festival, so does the red carpet with all the ladies at the event dressed to kill.
The screening of the film Le Scaphandre Et Le Papillon or The Diving Bell and the Butterfly on Tuesday saw top models walk the red carpet and needless to say, all eyes were on them.
Among the flutter of actresses from all over the world, doing just the right catwalk was German hottie Claudia Schiffer, followed by British model Naomi Campbell and Australian model Elle Macpherson.
But, after all, they were not there to walk the ramp. A huge crowd thronged to watch The Diving Bell and the Butterfly in which US artist and director Julian Schnabel portrays the story of a man crippled by a stroke and able to communicate only by blinking an eye.
The film is based on Le Scaphandre et le Papillon, a book French author Jean-Dominique Bauby.
