New Delhi: While international stars strutted their designer best at Cannes, Vienna saw some of the whackiest designs on show at the the Life Ball 2009, a gala to raise funds for AIDS charity work.
And taking fashion to a whole new level was Baywatch babe Pamela Anderson who walked in sporting a tacky black outfit. And later, the 41-year-old managed to squeeze herself into a flamboyant gold leotard with a matching hairdo, leaving everyone speechless.
Slurping it up was pop star Katy Perry who made a grand entry in a clam shell and was all dolled up in a beige mermaid-esque swimsuit with matching beige stockings. Clam shell, not bad, beige stockings, not happening, Katy!
And finally one person who managed to pull in some grace with a pink fish-tail gown was Desperate Housewives star Eva Langoria. Everyone thinks she played it safe to impress former US president Bill Clinton who was also present in a clean tux.
But clearly, the theme for the evening was anything but safe!
