New Delhi: The much-awaited Life in a … Metro starring Shilpa Shetty and a bandwagon of Bollywood stars released on Friday.
Shilpa was in London recently for the premiere of the film at the prestigious Leicester Square, where UK film and royal premieres are regularly hosted at one of the square's four cinemas, on Wednesday.
Needless to say, the actress was on cloud nine. “I am really excited that I am here for a film premiere and there is nothing that can get me more joy than this,” she told CNN-IBN.
Life in a… Metro also stars Konkona Sen Sharma, Kay Kay, Shiney Ahuja, Kangana Ranaut and Sharman Joshi.
But that's not the only USP of this film as at the helm is director Anurag Basu whose last venture Gangster was a runaway hit.
This is Shilpa Shetty’s first release after the big Celebrity Big Brother win which raked up a huge racism controversy early this year. Last month, Shilpa was again in the news regarding the Richard Gere kissing controversy, a case which is currently in the court.
