KOCHI: The cadet training ship of the People’s Liberation Army (PLA) Navy ‘Zheng He’, which is on a world cruise, will arrive in Kochi today as part of a goodwill visit to India. The Chinese ocean training vessel is expected to dock at the Cochin Port at 10 am. Cadet visit to the Southern Naval Command, the maritime museum at INS Dronacharya and the recently commissioned INS Sudarshini, in addition to friendly football matches are part of the itinerary.
The ship with a 310-member crew, has a high-level delegation, including officials from the High Commission and an admiral of the PLA Navy along with 110 cadets from the Dalian Naval Academy.
