New Delhi: A World War II era aircraft made an emergency landing on a highway in the US.
The plane -- a T6G, also known as the Harvard -- was being flown to an air show in Wisconsin when it developed engine trouble.
Highway Police footage showed the plane touching down momentarily on the highway and then regaining altitude and banking briefly before landing.
It's right wing was damaged after it hit several highway signs. The highway was closed for hours creating serious traffic jams.
Harvard aircraft were used by the Indian Air Force for training purposes.
