The film doesn’t star actress Bipasha Basu, rather it stars a new actress Nidhi Gill who plays the part of a dusky filmstar.
So is the resemblance to actress purely coincidental?
"Nidhi looks exactly like Bipasha Basu. And the USP of the film is the title itself," says the director of the film, Shailendra Singh Rajput.
Nidhi had sent a legal notice to Bipasha Basu earlier this year for allegedly making offensive comments about her as well as the film.
Bipasha had apparently brushed off the film and its leading lady by calling both C-grade imitations. "Controversy is after all controversy," says Nidhi.
The movie seems an obvious attempt to cash on to the popularity of another actress. But that’s a mantra that is not unusual among filmmakers in the industry these days.
