KOCHI: A petition has been filed before the Kerala High Court seeking a directive to prohibit the screening of the song ‘Kolaveri Di’ in Tamil actor Dhanush’s latest film ‘3.’
The petitioner Madasamy of Peermade in Idukki, who is a Guinness Record holder for delivering the longest speech, submitted that the song is badly influencing the minds of children.
“The song increases aggression-related thoughts and emotion,” he said. The petition has been filed against actor Dhanush and his wife Aiswarya Dhanush.
“Immediately on the release of the song scenes in visual media and Youtube, I sent reminders to the authorities seeking a directive not to give certification to the film ‘3’.”
“But, without considering the impacts pointed out, the authorities granted certification to the film and the same was released,” the petitioner said.
