New Delhi: K Natarajan is a man has to his credit a rare feat of photographing all the Prime Ministers of India, rite from Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru to Dr Manmohan Singh.
Eighty-year-old Natarajan started his career in photography way back in 1945 with the picture of Mahatama Gandhi going to meet the Viceroy in Shimla.
Since then he has been witness to many important political moments from Nehru's first address to the nation after Independence to Indira Gandhi’s swearing in, from Vajpayee's meeting with Clinton to Manmohan Singh greeting Pratibha Patil at the Rashtrapati House.
Natarajan has had cordial relations with most Prime Ministers right from Jawaharlal Nehru to Atal Behari Vajpayee. The photo he cherishes most was the one he took with Nehru.
Natarajan said, "Most memorable experience is after my wedding I was called by the PM to bless me. I took the photograph myself with self timer and I asked the PM to come to the garden and took the picture"
Natarjan is all set yet again to click the 16th Prime Minister Manmohan Singh who was also his personal choice for the Prime ministerial candidate this time.
