New Delhi: Even as Gujarat was limping back to normalcy after being targetted by the perpetrators of terror on July 26, the state was shaken again on Monday with the recovery of crude bombs in Ahmedabad.
Seventeen bombs were found near the Kalupur Darvaja of Ahmedabad on Monday, police said.
The bombs found were not sophisticated devices but crude explosives, police said.
The low-intensity bombs were found placed in a dustbin and are now in the possession of the police. The area has been cordoned off. With the festival season round the corner police are taking no chances.
The authorities are still investigating the serial blasts case of July 26 which killed 49 people and injured over 200 others.
