Chennai: Tamil Nadu police released a sketch on Sunday of a person who is suspected to have booked the consignments of arms from a transport company in Ambattur to Andhra Pradesh for delivery to Maoists.
The police said two consignments were sent to one Srinivasa Reddy of Vijayawada while another to Ram Reddy of Nellore District.
The booking of the consignments came to light following the seizure of arms, including rocket launchers and ammunition, at two separate places in Mahabubnagar and Prakasam districts of Andhra Pradesh.
Police released the sketch of a man without giving any name.
