New Delhi: Maharashtra Police on Tuesday recovered bones from Bollywood starlet Laila Khan's farmhouse in Igatpuri near Nashik. The bones will be sent for forensic examination. A key suspect, Parvez Tak led the police to the farmhouse to corroborate his claims that Laila Khan and her family were murdered.
Earlier, police launched the search after accused Parvez Tak told the Jammu and Kashmir Police that Laila Khan and her relatives were killed and bodies were buried around her farm house in Untdari behind Ghatan Devi Temple in Igatpuri.
Four kms of area around the farm house was cordoned-off and barricades were put up since Tuesday morning in the presence of top police officials and heavy bandobast.
Police are also interrogating Laila Khan's car drivers Jony Gilder and Mehboob Shaikh (both from Igatpuri) in connection with the case.
Laila was last seen in a movie 'Wafaa' with actor Rajesh Khanna in 2008.
