The Congress has finally got a chance to hit back at BSP Chief Mayawati for taking on Congress President Sonia Gandhi in Rae Bareilly. Permission to hold two of three BSP rallies in a DDA park in the Capital were witheld at the last moment.
RE-ELECTIONS IN SOME J-K AREAS
Four constituencies in Jammu and Kashmir will have re-elections following clashes between supporters of two political parties due to which polling was suspended. These constituencies are in Sonawari and Kargil Assembly constituencies.
RAHUL LASHES OUT AT BJP IN MP
Rahul Gandhi has lashed out at the BJP government in Madhya Pradesh for not fulfilling the promises it made to the people during last elections. Addressing well-attended election meetings at Harda, Jhabua, Mandsaur and Jeerapur, Rahul said the situation now was much worse than what it was in December 2003 when the Congress was in power in the state.
