It is now official that the international pop icon, Akon, is going to sing a song in NTR's Baadshah. SS Thaman is currently composing a peppy tune for the song. Remember, Akon made news when he was roped in by Shah Rukh Khan for the popular number, Chammk Challo, in Ra-One.
The song for Baadshah is going to be the second Indian song for the star. It is learnt that Bandla Ganesh was ready to spend as much as it takes when Sreenu Vytla and NTR suggested the idea to him. This is definitely going to add value to the film's album. The audio is expected in December.
It is, of course, a foregone conclusion that the song will be a typical Thaman song, complete with pulsating instrumentation. Let's wish that it turns out to be a big hit.
