New Delhi: While the Northern and Eastern India reeled under a second major power outage in two days, services at the Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi continued normally. No flights from the IGI Airport were delayed or cancelled.
In a statement, the Delhi International Airport (P) Limited (DIAL) said that the power load was restored within few seconds of outage on Tuesday with the help of the airport's power backup.
The airport remained functional on Monday, too, when seven states in North India faced power cuts due to the Northern India power grid failure.
