CNN-IBN: How do you feel about the entire ordeal?
Seema Goel: These 64 days have been like a nightmare. And I would never like to think or dream about it again. I hope nobody has to go through such an ordeal. Definitely the bad days and the nightmare is over.
However, I'm looking forward to happy days and celebrations. Tomorrow the captain is arriving and everybody including my kids and the entire family is happy and is looking forward to the captain's homecoming.
CNN-IBN: There have been several highs and lows in these past two months, was the system helpful?
Seema Goel: Well, the government mechanism is very slow. But if the govt decides to work things can surely work out. I met Pranab Mukherjee on the October 18 and by November 16 the Stolt Valor was relesed.
However, the time period which Pranab Mukherjee took to meet me was not appreciable.
CNN-IBN: The captain is coming tomorrow, it may be too early to say but will you let the captain sail again?
Seema Goel: As far I'm concerned no, but that is his profession and I do respect his profession. It's the call of the sea for the sailors, if he wishes I wish him good luck and if he doesn't, I'll be the happiest person on earth.
