Mumbai: The curtains fell on the Prithvi Theatre Festival with Hidayaat Sami's popular play All About Women, and as evident from its name the play is all about the journey into the female psyche interwoven through five different life stories of women from various age groups.
“Its a very simple easy kind of a watch and in a nut shell its a slice of life out of women's lives different age groups, different places in life in terms of some are old, some are young some are working, some are at home and it’s what they go through and deal with situations,” says actor Nirmat Kaur.
The play based on the idea of a hooker and a god co existing in a woman narrates stories that are hilarious as well as heart wrenching at the same time.
All About Women has already been staged several times earlier and its popularity with theatre lovers only reasserts the quality of the play.
“I laugh every time, I cry every time because all the stories that they show are the one’s I can connect to,” says Theatre Lover, Preetika Chawla.
