Production and deliveries of the new City to start from January 2012

Honda Siel Cars India is still facing a problem in disruption of components supply due to the floods which ravaged Thailand recently.

For the past two months, HSCI have been operating with severe production constraints due to the shortage of components. However, Honda officials have informed that production and deliveries of the face-lifted City will start from January 2012.

Senior vice president for marketing and sales HSCI, Jnaneswar Sen said, “The production for the month of December 2011 was curtailed due to the recent impact of the Thailand floods.

Production of the new City to start from Jan 2012

Honda has been facing a severe crisis in the supply of components owing to the floods in Thailand.

As a result of our efforts towards recovery, we will start stabilizing the production of the newly launched City from January 2012 and will begin deliveries”.

Honda reported sales of 1072 units for the month of December 2011 with the model wise sales break-up given below:

Accord 61

Brio 31

Civic 68

City 600

CRV 16

Jazz 296
