Washington: External Affairs Minister SM Krishna on Thursday said that the MoU inked between a US firm Westinghouse Electric and the Nuclear Power Company of India to install America's first nuclear reactor in Gujarat should end all speculations on the implementation of the 2008 Indo-US civil nuclear deal.
Krishna also requested the US for access to the 26/11 attacks accused David Coleman Headley and Tahawwur Rana. The US commended India for cutting Iran oil purchases.
The third India-US strategic dialogue chaired by Kishna and US Secretary of state Hillary Clinton came to an end on Wednesday night.
"We welcomed the tangible progress on our civil nuclear energy cooperation with the singing of the MOU between NPCIL and Westinghouse. I think this should put a test on some of the interpretation and some of the confusion that was prevailing," Krishna said.
