Pune: MBA aspirants writing the SNAP MBA exam for admission to Symbiosis institutes in Pune have alleged errors and irregularities in the competitive exam. Students have alleged that the institute ties up with coaching centres giving their students an unfair advantage.
The institute though has rejected these allegations saying students are disgruntled because the paper was tougher than previous years.
But many aspirants like Rohith Castellino who took the SNAP entrance exam were in for a shock.
Even more tellingly, aspirants alleged that some questions were taken from MBA coaching institutes, giving their students an unfair advantage.
"Serious action should be taken against those, where questions have been leaked to certain persons and we are being made scapegoats," MBA aspirant Sriram Bhat said.
Symbiosis has however rejected the allegations, in a statement it said, "A prima facie investigation has not found anything wrong in the SNAP examination. Still the University is carefully looking into all complaints received. We wish to clarify that the University does not have any tie-up with any coaching institutions."
Students though continue to cry foul on several internet forums, demanding a retest.
