The Delhi High Court on Saturday granted Anushree four days anticipatory bail in the Juhi Prasad murder case.
Juhi, a relative of BJP leader Rajiv Pratap Rudy, died of burns after her fiance Nimesh Sinha’s ex-girlfriend Anushree, allegedly set the two on fire. Nimesh, however, survived after receiving 15 per cent burns.
The police believe that techie Anushree went to Nimesh Sinha's house on October 13 and may have had a heated argument. A few hours later Nimesh’s fiance Juhi was found severely burnt inside the house with Nimesh sustaining burns as well.
Juhi's father, AK Prasad, said the boyfriend cannot be above suspicion and blames both Nimesh and Anushree for his daughter's death.
Speaking exclusively to CNN-IBN, AK Prasad said it is a complete failure on the part of the Pune police as more than a month has passed by and they still haven't arrested Juhi's murders.
"It is complete failure of Pune police, since more than a month has passed, and culprit was not arrested until she was granted bail from this Delhi High Court, so it is very shocking, it is very shocking," AK Prasad said.
AK Prasad said that he will continue to fight until his daughter doesn't get justice.
He said, "Till date I am fighting for the justice of Juhi. It is only because of media, because of my friends, because of my well wishers, otherwise I would not have fought this battle. I will take this battle until I get justice."
A month after the incident, several questions still remain unanswered.
-Why did Nimesh invite both women to the house at the same time?
-Police say Nimesh left the door unlatched after Anushree left his house. Why?
-How did Nimesh suffer just 15 per cent burns and Juhi 90 per cent burns even though both were on the same bed?
-Only the bed and a chair were found burnt. How did the entire room not catch fire?
Adding to the mystery was Anushree's disappearance post the incident.
