New Delhi: Well known actor in Sandalwood, Power Star Puneeth Rajkumar is all set to make his presence felt on big screen with his new flick 'Anna Bond' opposite Priyamani and Nidhi Subbaiah. The film is directed by Suri.
When City Express interacted with Puneeth Rajkumar, Priyamani and lyricist Jayant Kaikini, they spoke in length about their upcoming flick during the audio launch of the film.
Puneeth who had earlier collaborated with director Suri in his previous project Jackie, said," We have become more like friends and our interaction between each shot is much easier."
Puneeth Rajkumar is all set to make his presence felt on big screen with his new flick 'Anna Bond'.
When asked about the six pack abs for the film, he said, "It was strenuous in the initial stages as I underwent training. I wanted to give a tough look to my role in the film. Looking younger makes me feel good as I am growing old."
The film is almost entirely shot in Bangalore, Coorg and Kanakapura. But, out of four songs in the film, two songs have been picturised in Spain while are yet to be shot in Malaysia.
On this ocassion, Priyamani spoke about her onscreen chemistry with her co-star Puneeth Rajkumar. She said, "Director and cinematographer Satya Hegde have captured us well through the lens. Since this is the second film with Puneeth after Raam, it has given me an opportunity to prove my acting skills and also to work with a well-known actor."
The music for the film is directed by V Harikrishna and the lyrics by Yograj Bhat, Kaviraj and Jayant Kaikini. "Suri always values the lyrical quality. The Rajkumar family has created a benchmark for producing the best films in the industry. So, it always inspires me to give the best," said Jayant.
The noted poet and lyricist is also writing the lyrics for Yogaraj Bhat's film Drama, Pritham Gubbi's Janu Meri Jaan and Andar Bahar which casts Shivraj Kumar in the lead role.
