Amritsar: Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, while addressing a rally in Amritsar, stepped up attack on the ruling Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) saying that Punjab has lost its spot as India's top state during its rule.
Singh said, "Punjab is ruled by a government which does not do justice to the hard work and capability of the people here."
Singh also said that there is an electricity crisis in Punjab and the number of unemployed is going on the rise.
