Quake jolts parts of Meghalaya

Shillong: An earthquake of slight intensity jolted parts of Meghalaya on Tuesday night. The quake, which struck at 2124 hours, was measured 3.5 on the Richter scale, a press release from India Met Department said.

Earlier in May 11 tremors measuring 5.4 on the Richter scale were felt in north eastern states of Assam and Meghalaya.

However, there was no report of any damage.
