Mumbai: Maharashtra Home Minister R R Patil on Sunday met the family members of slain crime journalist Jyotirmoy Dey at his residence in suburban Ghatkopar in Mumbai.
Patil consoled Dey's family members and assured them that the government would make all efforts to nab the culprits.
He also directed the local police to expedite the action to nab the culprits.
Joint Commissioner of Police (Law and Order) Rajnish Seth was also present on the occasion.
NCP MP Sanjay Patil also met Dey's family members.
Dey, who was working as an investigative editor with Mid-Day, was shot dead by unidentified assailants on Saturday.
