'Race 2' opens to a fantastic weekend, earns Rs 51.35 crore

New Delhi: 'Race' sequel seems to be racing at the box-office too as the film has already minted Rs 51.35 crore within three days of its release. 'Race 2' is a sequel to Abbas-Mustan's 2008 thriller.

Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted, "#Race2 collected approx Rs 51.35 cr nett in its opening weekend. Breakup:- Fri 15.12 cr, Sat 20.72 cr, Sun 15.51 cr."

The film, started off with a good opening at the box office, raked in Rs 15 crore on its opening day and continued to do a good business at the ticket window in the subsequent days.

\'Race 2\' is a sequel to Abbas-Mustan\'s 2008 thriller.

Adarsh had earlier tweeted, "INDIA: #Race2 has a FANTABULOUS Saturday. Fri Rs 15.12 cr, Sat Rs 20.72 cr. Total: Rs 35.84 cr nett."

The film stars Saif Ali Khan, John Abraham, Deepika Padukone, Anil Kapoor, Jacqueline Fernandez and Ameesha Patel.
