Sangrur: Congress Vice president on Thursday called Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and UPA chief and his mother Sonia Gandhi as his political gurus. "I have two political gurus, the Congress President and PM Manmohan Singh," Rahul said.
Rahul praised Manmohan Singh and lauded his contribution to the politics of the country. "No one can contribute as much as Manmohan Singh has for the country. He has done a lot for the country," Rahul said.
He also added, "Intention is important and Manmohan Singh has a clear intention."
Rahul Gandhi lauded the efforts of Manmohan Singh and said that no one can contribute as much as he has for the country.
The Congress Vice President also said that he wondered why the media had written adverse articles about his relationship with Manmohan Singh.
He also said that every citizen has a right to information and applauded the efforts of the UPA government which began the politics of people rights, the RTI which gave 'shakti' to the people.
He also targeted the BJP and the SP for the communal violence in Muzaffarnagar. "Hindus and Muslims in Muzaffarnagar told me that the BJP and the Samajwadi Party is creating enmity among us," he added.
