New Delhi: A day after Congress leader Rahul Gandhi pitched Captain Amarinder Singh as Punjab Chief Minister candidate, the Congress General Secretary lashed out at the BJP and LK Advani's anti-graft yatra at a public rally in Gidderbaha in Punjab. He accused Advani of having blinkered vision and failing to check corruption in the BJP-ruled states like Karnataka, Punjab, Chhattisgarh.
He also warned his party candidates in Punjab on corruption. "Many new faces have come up in Punjab congress from the youth congress. I met all of them in Delhi, warned them, that if I find even a little bit about corruption against you, your career is finished," Rahul said while addressing a public rally in Gidderbaha, Punjab.
"LK Advani does yatras against corruption. Strange that he can not see corruption in BJP ruled states. He doesn't see corruption in Karnataka, Punjab, Chhattisgarh. In Parliament we wanted a strong Lokpal, as a constitutional body like the EC, but BJP, Akali pressed the red button, didn't let it pass," he added.
