Rahul Sharma join hands with Zakir Hussain

Young Santoor maestro Rahul Sharma and Tabla genius Zakir Hussain come together for the first time on CD! a Live recording in San francisco,where the two musicians perform together to a packed audience. the cd Rhythm of Love,released by saregama is out in stores and features a beautiful evening Raga called 'Charukeshi'.

Rahul is the son and student of santoor maestro Pt Shiv Kumar Sharma. Rahul has released more than 45 Albums and has in the past collaborated with world renowned pianist Richard clayderman on 2 cd's and has featured on pop musician Peter Gabriels record label' Real world Records'. apart from this Rahul has just finished a cd collaboration with world renowned artist Kenny G to be released in the near future.

Rahul had also successfully scored music for Bollywood films like Yash chopras' Hritik starrer Mujhse Dosti karoge.one of those few musicians who goes classical,fusion,bollywood and world collaborations. Rahuls album Zen also won the best music album at MTV immies.
