Raid on MonaVie chiefs house

A team of the Crime Branch (Economic Offences Wing) units from Kozhikode and Palakkad on Saturday conducted raid on the house of MonaVie company’s state chief Sajeev N Nair at Maradu here.

 Sajeev was arrested for a money-chain fraud on Friday.

 The raid which began in the morning continued till evening. The Crime Branch (CB) had raided the office of the company here on Friday. SP P A Valsan said that all documents in the office were thoroughly verified. “We have received some of the vital information after going through the documents. We have found the involvement of few more people in the case and their identity cannot be revealed now. The company has done business worth Rs 11.79 crores in the state in the last eight months,” Valsan said.
