Mumbai: While rains have sunk most shoots in Bollywood, the shoot for Sooraj Barjatya's film Vivaah continues uninterrupted in Filmcity. CNN-IBN correspondent Aarti Kapur Singh caught up with the film's leading lady Amrita Rao who shared her rain stories.
Aarti Kapur Singh: Four days of incessant rains in Mumbai have not dampened Amrita Rao's spirits one bit who is back on location to shoot for Vivaah.
Amrita any apprehensions? You came back so early, you were so on time. No hang up's, no excuses?
Amrita Rao: I think when you look forward to your work and when you love what you’re doing, you don't need excuses. For that I have to give entire credit to Sooraj Barjatiya and his unit because they are really special.
Aarti Kapur Singh: You have forgotten July 26 last year really fast. What were you doing then?
Amrita Rao: I think none of us will forget the impact of July 26 because it was very unfortunate for few. I remember I saw there was jam-packed traffic on one side and hordes of people walking.
Aarti Kapur Singh: Do you remember any such incident, in which you thought about the whole camaraderie and the never say die spirit of the film industry?
Amrita Rao: The film industry is not an exception certainly but what really got us surprised was the spirit of the Mumbaikars because they were there to help everybody. I heard the most amazing stories of how small kids have helped other people to just recover or even come to a safe situation.
