Ace director Rajamouli's 'Eega', starring Nani and Samantha, has won the National award as the 'Best Regional Film' in Telugu for the year 2012 in the 60th National film awards.

It has also won the Best Special Effects award. The film released in July 2012 has won the accolades of the critics and went on to become a big hit then.
