Rajasthan: 40 die as docs' strike enters day 5

Jaipur: The medical emergency in Rajasthan reuses to end with the strike by the doctors entering its fifth day.

Over 40 patients have died in the last five days. The state government has suspended 40 doctors while 390 have been arrested for not performing their duties.

The Rajasthan government has imposed the Essential Services Maintenance Act.

Meanwhile, Army doctors have stepped in to help out and the emergency services have been restored in some hospitals.
