A former state minister, an ex-BJP MP and 2 police officers are among 17 people who have been booked in a rape case.
The victim, who hails from Haryana, has alleged that her husband had colluded with the accused, who sexually exploited her.
This comes as quite a setback for the Opposition that has been targetting the Ashok Gehlot government for the Bhanwari Devi case, in which minister Mahipal Maderna is an accused and has been removed from cabinet following the controversy.
